Document Solutions Australia (DSA) was built on strong core values which show in our communications and operations. These foundations were set by Co-Directors Colin Wheeler and Alan Thompson who are passionate about supporting the Gold Coast community through a variety of local causes.
An annual one-night event over one of the longest and coldest nights of the year where business leaders from across the Gold Coast sleep outside to support Australians who are experiencing or are at risk of homelessness. Colin has been a founding ambassador for six years raising $1,900,000 in that time. He is supported by Alan who has been an active participant over the years.
“It is a great cause,” says Colin, “Every dollar [raised] stays on the coast and goes to the Cornerstone Project for the prevention of homelessness.”

Life Cycle is a 6-day ride with just over 1,000 kilometres covered, including approximately 11,000 metres of climbing. These efforts are to raise funds to construct a special needs independent living triplex for Ketra Wooding and Magenta Harris who suffer from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS) and Cerebal Palsey (CP) respectively.
“After learning what these two special individuals have had to endure in life, I will not complain if the ride gets a bit tough,” Alan quotes, “This is an opportunity for me to challenge myself doing something that I love, but more importantly, to support this amazing cause to give Ketra and Magenta true independence.”
