He’s our newest Storeman, often working behind the scenes in our warehouse making sure your machines get to you in perfect nick, but you might be more likely to meet Dan delivering your new machine in our DocSol van! Now it’s time to get to know our Storeman a little bit better – what’s he hiding behind that luscious beard? Let’s find out…
Q: What has your career journey looked like so far?
A: I started out working in surveying straight out of school for 9 years up until the company ran out of work, whilst I worked there, I also bartended at a bowls club for a little while and soon after got a job working in retail at Zing Robina. I finished up all of those and began working as a stone mason for about 8 months until I found myself a job working at Adidas at Harbour Town for 3 years eventually working my way up to being their 3IC. But after 3 long years there I was seeking a better work-life balance which led me here to DocSol which I’m absolutely loving so far.
Q: How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
A: Funny, easy-going, and approachable.
Q: What is something about you that nobody here at DocSol knows?
A: I’m obsessed with board games which I’d have to blame working at Zing for. I have an entire cupboard full of them which my friends and I play most weekends when we get time.
Q: What is the best thing since sliced bread?
A: Golf. If I could play it all day every day I would!
Q: What is the best trip you have taken – where and why?
A: My wife and I went to Fiji which we absolutely loved! The people there are so lovely and welcoming, it’s such a beautiful place, we had a blast and can’t wait to go back there soon!
Q: If you could live in any other country, where would you choose?
A: Probably Japan or the UK.
Q: What is one thing you’ve done that you are really proud of?
A: Can cook 2 Minute Noodles in 1 minute 59 seconds 🍜
Q: You’re stranded on a deserted island! Who are 3 fictional characters you’d like to have with you?
A: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Rick Sanchez, and Yelena Belova.
Q: What is your favourite can’t-live-without food?
A: Not sure if I have just one but I’m a sucker for a good Ramen.
Q: What are you looking forward to at DocSol?
A: Learning everything I can and progressing within the business.
