Robbie looks after the Southern end of the Gold Coast and is a ‘white tornado’ intent on fixing your photocopier or multifunctional equipment as quickly as possible. For a Welshman he sounds very much like an Aussie and we don’t know of another Welshman that can surf! Rob has been in the industry since 1974 and has been servicing the Konica Minolta product since 1990.
Q. Tell me a little about your personal life – are you married, children? Etc
A. Married with two grown up children and five grandchildren.
Q. How did you become a Service Technician?
A. Did four years apprenticeship after leaving school in the mid 70s.
Q. How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
A. Honest, Reliable and Hardworking.
Q. What is something about you that nobody here at Docsol knows?
A. I swam in Lochness when I was about ten – I wasn’t scared of no lochness monster.
Q. What is the best thing since sliced bread?
A. Terri-Lee, my wife.
Q. What is the best trip you have taken – where and why?
A. Rode a motorcycle across Australia rigged up with surfboard racks. It was the best of both worlds.
Q. If you won 1 million dollars, how would you spend it?
A. Very carefully.

A. I wouldn’t – they’d be too full of themselves.

A. Dog.
