The WF-C879R is a 25 page per minute A3 capable Colour Digital Multifunction Inkjet Device with paper feed capacity of up to 400 sheets. The Replaceable Ink Pack System lets you print up to 86,000 ISO mono/50,000 ISO colour pages before changing the ink.

In most cases, the energy used by a laser printer, whilst in “Ready” mode, still uses more energy than an Epson device whilst printing.
The WorkForce Pro WF-C879RTC boasts a total of 1,900 sheet capacity including a 150-page rear tray for envelopes, labels and specialty media for efficient paper handling.

This printer is designed to function only with genuine Epson ink cartridges and not with third party ink cartridges. The printer may not function properly or at all if you use third party ink cartridges.
1 XL Black ink pack prints up to 86,000 pages. XL Colour Packs print up to 50,000 pages. Actual number of pages will vary. Replacement ink pack yields are based on testing with ISO/IEC 24712 patterns with Epson’s methodology in Default mode, printing continuously. Yields may vary considerably for reasons that include images printed, print settings, temperature and humidity. Yields may be lower when printing infrequently or predominantly with one ink colour. All ink colours are used for printing and printer maintenance. For print quality, part of the ink from the included cartridges or ink packs is used for printer startup and a variable amount of ink remains in the ink pack after the “replace ink pack” signal appears. Printer shipped with initial cartridges. Yields achieved with additional purchased ink packs.
