The countdown is on: in 5 days, DocSol Director Alan Thompson will be gearing up for a 1,000-kilometre cycle in support of Condev Cares project – Ketra’s House. The annual ride takes place over 6 days starting this Sunday 21st March.
These incredible efforts are to raise funds for a very important cause. Australian youth with disabilities are often left with no choice but to live in aged care facilities which are not suited to their needs and take a toll on their mental health.
Two women in particular have caught the attention of Condev Cares: Ketra Wooding and Magenta Harris. These two amazing young women suffer from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME/CFS) and Cerebral Palsy (CP) respectively. Condev Cares is constructing Ketra’s House – a special needs, independent living triplex to grant these women the independent living and essential environment they deserve.
